This explains what DK Media does with personal information collected through this website. It is deliberately short, because there is not much to say.

Who is responsible

DK Media is the data controller for information collected here. If you have a question, or want to exercise any of the rights below, email business@dkmedialtd.com.

What we collect, and why

If you fill in a form on this site, we receive what you typed into it — typically your name, your email address and your message. We use it to reply to you and to carry out any work you go on to ask for. Nothing else.

We do not sell it, share it for anyone else's marketing, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us, so you expect a reply. If we go on to work together, the basis becomes performance of a contract.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within about two years. If you become a client, we keep what we have to for tax and accounting purposes, which in the UK is six years after the end of the relevant financial year.

Who else sees it

These services process information on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — serves this website and protects it from attack. Their privacy notice.
• Web3Forms — delivers messages from the contact form to our inbox. Their privacy notice.
• YouTube — plays the embedded film, and only once you press play. Their privacy notice.

Cookies

We measure how many people visit using Cloudflare Web Analytics , which does not use cookies and does not track you between websites. More about it.

Some pages embed video. Those players may set cookies once you press play — never before — so nothing is stored unless you choose to watch something.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address above and we will deal with it within a month.

If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
